Summer Solstice BookfestWhen the call went out for authors to take part in a Summer Solstice Fantasy Bookfest, I had to answer. The solstices, equinoxes and cross-quarter days are such a strong magical thread running through all six of the Mists series books – although of course June 22 is the Winter Solstice down under, while our friends in the north celebrate the Summer Solstice and Midsummer Day…

To celebrate your solstice, whichever one that is, we’re offering you 100+ free ebooks. Download one book or a hundred, it’s up to you – I know I’ll be adding a few to my tbr list. You also have the chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card, so have a look around the promo page to find out how to enter.

This is a great opportunity to try out some new authors. The books are from a diverse group of writers from around the world, in a variety of (loosely fantasy) genres – but each book involves magic, swords and sorcery, thrones and kingdoms, supernatural creatures, romance and intrigue, or some combination thereof. Into the Mists would fit into magic and intrigue, with a dash of the Otherworldly, and the second and third book in the series adds a little magic to that combo.

The celebration runs from June 21-30, so take a look and grab some fun new reads…
